Our classes are kept small (12 person max) in order to ensure proper form, technique and understanding, providing twice as much attention as the normal (20+ person) large classes you'll find in most martial arts schools.
We are committed to delivering premium-quality training at a fair and honest price.
In many schools, classes are overcrowded—beginners train alongside advanced students, and 10-year-olds are paired with 17-year-olds. Too often, students spend the majority of their time standing in line, observing rather than actively training, which impedes the development of proper muscle memory.
At Alpha Training, instruction is tailored to each skill level, ensuring students receive the focused attention necessary to progress safely and effectively. Your investment will not be wasted waiting in long lines alongside twenty other students for their turn to participate.
There is not a specific age to start with us, but our program is currently geared towards starting students who have the ability to:
1. Follow basic directions (3+ tasks)
2. Control basic emotions (not try to hurt others when upset/tantrums)
3. Focus for short periods of time (during technique explanation/Awareness lesson)
4. Show respect for others (not talking during class time)
5. Commit to the work (practicing at home as well as working hard in class)
Of course kids aren't perfect all the time... and that's ok! As they grow and mature we will consistently focus the above goals, as well as others to maximize strengths, strengthen weaknesses, and ensure every minute of training drives measurable progress!
Each student will evaluated individually, and we will provide clear, direct feedback on the best approach for their success.
Absolutely not—everyone starts somewhere. Some students arrive with prior experience and are able to advance quickly, while others may progress at a different pace as they work to unlearn ineffective habits from previous programs. Regardless of your starting point, our role is to meet you at your current level and equip you with the tools to grow stronger, faster, and more confident every time you step through our doors.
Our striking program combines the best techniques from Boxing, Kickboxing, and Muay Thai. Our grappling program is a blend of Jiu Jitsu and Wrestling.
This blend provides students with powerful and versatile skills applicable in both competitive sports and real-world self-defense.

2. We will contact you back and discuss your needs and our availability.
3. We will schedule a time for you to come in for an assessment and to view our classes.
Parents/guardians are encouraged to stay for the whole session rather than dropping off, as they are an important part of the pack!
Discussions are always welcome! If there are any questions from parents about the training, please hold questions/comments until the end of class. Respectful communication at all times is key.
Stretching is very important, we will provide stretching/warm-up time for class sessions. However, for personal training sessions, please stretch/warm up before your session starts because we have a lot to cover in a short amount of time.
We learn a lot in a short amount of time so students are expected to practice what they learned daily at home, and come to each session prepared to show their progress and ready to learn more!
